To promote the sound development of the real estate investment and the securitization market, we identify the trends in revisions to related legislation and the status of their implementation in practice after such revisions, and based on the wishes of our members, we make requests for necessary legal and regulatory systems improvements and taxation revisions.

To expand the real estate investment and the securitization market, we are promoting activities that contribute to the dissemination of information tailored to the characteristics of investors, as well as market development and the assurance of reliability.

Surveys & research and public relations activities

We conduct various surveys & research activities that contribute to identifying market trends and making recommendations regarding the real estate investment and the securitization market, as well as providing various information, disseminating knowledge, and conducting public relations activities.

International collaboration activities

To contribute to the development of the global real estate investment market, ARES is collaborating with overseas organizations to address various issues.

• Participation in the Real Estate Equity Securitization Alliance (REESA), an alliance of seven associations from around the world, including the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (Nareit).
• Organizing the Global Real Estate Investment Forum (irregular)

Educational programs

With the aim of contributing to investor protection and the sound development of the market, ARES is training “Qualified Real Estate Securitization Experts (ARES Masters)” who possess advanced expertise and high professional ethics in real estate securitization.

• Promotion of the ARES Certified Masters Qualification System (training courses and continuing education)
• Promote the advancement of female Masters

Training programs

ARES conducts training, seminars, and other events for members’ executives and employees, as well as training for ARES Certified Masters.

• We organize training and seminars on legal, legal and regulatory systems, and market trends related to the real estate securitization business.
• We conduct training that contributes to improving practical skills and practicing compliance based on the human resource development needs of asset management companies.

Investor protection

To solidify the confidence of investors, we are committed to ensuring thorough compliance with the rules for members and ARES Masters and we also engage in activities that contribute to investor protection. Members also meet the conditions required to be used as a designated ADR alternative organization under the ADR program.
